Some clients may ask if we can use engineered quartz stone for outdoor engineering? The answer is no. Engineered quartz slabs are manufactured mainly by 90-93% of natural quartz sand and 6%-7% of resin. Therefore, resin is an important part of finished quartz slabs. With sunshine outside, the resin is easy to become yellow and affects original quartz color. Moreover, the quartz slabs would bend after exposing to the sun for a long time. So most of quartz slabs are fabricated into countertops or tiles for indoor use. If you need outdoor artificial stone materials, you are recommended to use nanoglass slabs which could be well used for outdoor engineering. We have been in artificial stone industry for more than 15 years. If you have any questions about these aspects, just feel free to contact us anytime.
