What is the second-choice or B-quality quartz slab? The reason why quartz slab is popular for various countertops is its flexible colors and stable quality. However, in the manufacturing process, some slabs with more or less quality problems are not avoidable, which are taken as second choice quartz slabs or B-quality quartz slabs. Among these slabs, the most serious one is air holes in the slab, which happens when the compressing machine fails to work and can't suck all air in the slab. If so, the surface will appear some holes which will easily store dirts and make it difficult to clean slabs. Besides, another acceptable quality problem is impurity for some pure colors of quartz slabs. For example, for pure white quartz slabs or quartz slabs with some white color, if there are some black or dark dots on the white surface, they would look obvious and uncomfortable. So, these slabs with impurities are also included in second-choice slabs. Moreover, like Calcutta quartz slabs, they have obvious and clear veins on the surface. But if the veins are partly vague and mixed with other colors, the whole slab surface looks ugly, which is also not acceptable for good quality slabs.
